Hi! I'm Stacy Davies. I'm a mother of 2 teenage sons, Scout Leader and Preschool Teacher.
I earned my Bachelors degree in Special Education and Early Care - Early Childhood Development from
The University of Delaware and completed several graduate-level courses in Autism Studies at Towson University.
I've received certifications and training in Verbal Behavior Therapy, ABA Therapy, and The Greenspan Floortime Approach.
I was personally trained by Dr. Stanley Greenspan, child psychiatrist, theoretician, diagnostician, clinician and creator of The Greenspan Floortime Approach.
I have over 20 years of experience working directly with children of all ages and abilities in various educational settings, from infancy through middle school. Over the years, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges children face in overcrowded classrooms, including disruptive behaviors and expectations that don't align with their developmental stages.
I started Beyond the Books Learning to provide a preschool and before/ after school club where children are encouraged to be children! A place where children can explore, discover, and learn at their pace while fostering a foundation of skills essential for lifelong success.
Are you ready to guide your child on an extraordinary educational journey?
